And now we can go on summer holiday without me having to miss a few lab classes.  We are heading north next week and will return mid July.  I will have my computer to keep up with email and websites - and hopefully film some fun traveling productions!!!

In conjuction with the college course, the 21 hour hands-on “Balancing the Spine” (rolfing) workshop I took in NC still resonates in my mind and body.  My focus now will be personal study of my Anatomy & Movement as well as language to talk students through yoga postures.  I don’t practice yoga when I teach, I watch students to SEE what is going on.  This weekend I have to prepare a Film Production Cost Summary as the yoga institute I am attending has offered me my requested “work-study” leading to full coverage of tuition for the Yoga Therapist Program (around $10K for the year and a half).  Matt will be traveling with me to California in September and assisting me in this work study -such a great opportunity!!!

This Wednesday I am looking forward to attending a local 8 hour workshop called, “Hormones & Health - The Brain-Body Connection” a great follow-up for the Anatomy course.  So you see where my focus has been lately….

I am pleased to be able to shift my attention yet still work with the websites and custom videos …. Love waking up to the sun shining and rain falling…there must be a rainbow out there somehwere!!!   Last night after teaching a great asana class and being a student for a pranayama/meditation, I got deep into vinyasa flow and hang out in an inversion, turning my world upside down for longer than I have in quite some time.  It was wonderful.
