Journey Vignettes
Wednesday, December 31st, 2008Happy & Wild New Year’s Eve to all!!!
Tonight, a bonfire and fresh oysters and clams will keep us warm and satisfied, surely acting as aphrodisacs! Exciting to know I will be seeing Chelsea and Dave tomorrow, splurging on an oceanfront suite for the night… it’s been since last August since we’ve hung out and filmed! Pending productions: Superheroine, ButtSniffing & Stethoscope Sex Foursome.
Mother Nature has provided us wonderful weather during our holiday travels here in the Southern Outer Banks. Fun driving a 1992 jeep with a lift and big tires. Temperatures from the 20’s to the upper 60’s with a mix of sunshine, rain and today - 30+ knot winds.
Journey Vignettes:
To my total surprise, Santa Claus came to our home on Christmas Eve!
Road tripping 2 hours West and North to spend time on a farm and in an old tabacco barn adapted into a rock climbing wall. Hiking along the Dan River and kayaking across to explore rock climbing. Walking around the Hanging Rock Lake to stand aside a Dam and listen to see captured and controlled water. Driving down the windy mountain to be in NC and see VA.
Standing on the end of the dock ‘in the midst’ of a bright starry sky reflecting onto the calm Core Sound water and feeling as if we were floating in space and experiencing a unique dimension of life, beyond that which we are formerly familiar. As well, I am in such honor to see shooting stars here and there…
Walking in sand through dunes to the ocean’s edge and into and up the dunes passing a WWII Bunker to stand above it and see the sunset into the Atlantic Ocean.
Tranistioning into using big words to define Vini: differentiation, adaptation & appropriate application when I teach my 1st yoga workshop here in NC this weekend – on chronic low back pain.
Well, until next year, have a fantabulous final day of 2008 … here we are 2009!!!!
