Awake
Awake with the sun this morning, a mystery as to why. INTENTION came to mind as the sun was rising and I recalled bizarre dreams. I also pondered a comment a billionaire made to me during a private yoga session last week. He asked me to tell him about myself - I shared from college graduation, to teaching, to computers for 10 years and 10 years of chronic back pain until I found yoga, practicing daily reducing and stabilizing the pain. He suggested to me to not lecture (A lecture is an oral presentation intended to present information or teach people about a particular subject. Lectures are used to convey critical information, history, background, theories and equations.) rather to instruct (to give knowledge to, to provide with authoritative information or advice, to give an order or command to). He shared my tone of voice is what expressed lecturing rather than instructing. I appreciate learning from clients, especially so when it directly links to letting go of ego. Time for Mindfulness Meditation to start my day - and moved into mantra japa and a few asana. Dressing and ready to instruct a weekly Friday morning group. It’s Friday - woohoo!
